PTE Summarize Spoken Text practice में पहले क्या अलग रखें
Pearson अभी यह task PTE Academic और PTE Core दोनों में रखता है। दोनों में recording एक बार सुनकर central message की written summary बनानी होती है।
Academic में 60–90 second audio, 10 minutes और 50–70 words हैं। Core में 45–75 second audio, 8 minutes और 20–30 words हैं। अपने booked format के rules रखें।
चरण 1: purpose सुनें
पहचानें कि speaker explain, compare, report, evaluate या cause और result connect कर रहा है। Purpose बाद की details को सही जगह देता है।
एक छोटा provisional topic लिखें और conclusion focus बदले तो उसे सुधारें। केवल opening line को main idea न मानें।
चरण 2: छोटा map बनाएँ
Notes को MAIN IDEA, SUPPORT 1, SUPPORT 2 और LINK में बाँटें। Cause, result, contrast, sequence या condition के लिए arrows रखें।
Full sentences की जगह keywords लिखें। Examples को उस broader idea के नीचे group करें जिसे वे support करते हैं।
चरण 3: notes repair और select करें
Audio खत्म होने पर abbreviations पूरी करें, main message circle करें और हर relationship की direction check करें।
Detail तभी रखें जब वह main idea को explain, limit या prove करे। ऐसे names, dates और examples हटाएँ जो conclusion नहीं बदलते।
चरण 4: Academic या Core plan चुनें
Academic में 50–70 words के भीतर main idea और essential support रखें। Core में 20–30 words के कारण main idea और strongest relationship ही चुनें।
Academic को generic introduction से न भरें और Academic paragraph को Core में न ले जाएँ। सही word range task का हिस्सा है।
चरण 5: map से draft करें
Meaning को अपनी controlled language में rebuild करें। जरूरी technical terms रखें और relationship के अनुसार connector चुनें।
Subject और verb clear रखें। Ambiguous pronouns या बहुत commas हों तो Academic में sentence divide या Core में simplify करें।
चरण 6: word count adjust करें
Short Academic response में essential cause, result या qualification जोड़ें। Long response से framing, repetition और examples पहले हटाएँ।
Core में lists को common category से बदलें। हर major edit के बाद count और meaning दोबारा check करें।
चरण 7: पाँच traits review करें
Content, Form, Grammar, Vocabulary और Spelling check करें। Academic में 50–70 और Core में 20–30 words confirm करें।
Agreement, tense, word order, punctuation और spelling के लिए एक या दो minutes बचाएँ। एक English spelling convention consistently रखें।

अभी दोनों में है, लेकिन audio length, writing time और word range अलग हैं।
क्या audio फिर सुन सकते हैं?
नहीं। Pearson के अनुसार recording automatically एक बार play होती है।
कितने sentences लिखने चाहिए?
Pearson word range तय करता है, एक fixed sentence count नहीं। Complete और controlled sentences लिखें।
