Record the reason, not just the answer
Label the underlying issue: missed instruction, spelling, word limit, distractor, unsupported idea, or grammar pattern.
Return after a delay
A correction can feel obvious immediately. Revisiting it later checks whether you can retrieve the rule without the answer beside you.
Practise a near transfer
Use a similar but not identical question. The goal is to apply the correction, not memorise one response.
